What Happens During Consultation
Your 30-minute consultation begins with a focused review of hair history, current routine, and lifestyle factors that affect scalp health. We discuss concerns such as thinning, excessive shedding, or changes in fullness, clarifying timelines and patterns to help determine whether in-studio care or medical referral is appropriate.
Following the interview, we perform a magnified scalp analysis with a scalp scope to inspect hair density, follicle openings, and scalp condition. Observations are used to shape recommendations; if signs indicate an underlying medical condition, we will refer you to a dermatologist or healthcare provider for further evaluation.
Personalized Scalp Care Recommendations
Based on your scalp scope and history, we prescribe a tailored plan covering in-studio treatments and at-home scalp care practices. Recommendations may include changes in cleansing frequency, topical routines, or professional services to support healthier-looking hair and a well-cared-for scalp. We do not prescribe medications; medical referrals are made when appropriate.
The $175 consultation fee covers the 30-minute appointment and includes your scalp analysis and written recommendations. This fee may be applied toward in-studio trichology services only; it cannot be applied toward take-home products. If you decide to book follow-up treatments after the consult, we’ll credit the fee to those eligible studio services.
